The Village Goldsmith has teamed up with Wellington Rugby to craft a winning Gameday Giveaway!
Just as they know all about crafting the perfect set piece, we’re all about crafting the perfect piece of jewellery. So, we got together as a bunch of local craftspeople who all love supporting Wellington Rugby and created something special for like-minded fans.
In the lead up to the Lions home games this season, we have multiple chances for you to win a solid sterling silver rugby ball pendant, designed and crafted by our creative team here in Wellington.
Ian Douglas, Founder of The Village Goldsmith and born-and-bred Wellingtonian, loves crafting beautiful jewellery right here in our Capital, and has been doing so ever since he started the business in 1981.
Ian has also been a long-time supporter of community groups, the Arts, local schools and sport. He strongly believes in helping young people fulfil their passion whatever that may be and recognises sport can be a great pathway to reaching your potential.
Sometimes young people face barriers in achieving their goals and this is where local businesses like The Village Goldsmith can help. From cheering on the sideline, to donating rugby boots and helping a team fundraise for their trip, each little action can have a huge impact on the future of our youth and community.
Another organisation which knows all about building healthy futures for our kids is the Wellington Children’s Hospital. Wellington Rugby and The Village Goldsmith are proud supporters of the Children’s Hospital. You may remember the Wellington Children’s Hospital Bravery Medal that we created.
As well as being up for grabs in our giveaway, the solid sterling silver rugby ball pendant is available for purchase with $25 from every rugby pendant sold being donated to the Wellington Children’s Hospital.
Each of the prize winners, as well as a bonus entry drawn from all entries, will go in to win the Grand Prize created in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital. So, keep entering each draw for more chances and stay tuned for details!
