A lush tale of a Scottish bound engagement ring 💚

When your craft solidifies love across all parts of the globe 💫  This wonderful couple, Maeve and Reade, were visiting Wellington when they happened to pop in to our showroom while travelling all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland. As they explored our collections and tried on a few beautiful rings, neither realised they were taking the first steps in a much larger story. The visit must have sparked something in Reade's imagination, because not long afterwards he contacted our team with a vision for the perfect ring for Maeve.

Over the next few months, and through many emails exchanged with Reade back in Scotland, our talented Senior Designer, Courtney, worked closely with Reade to bring his vision to life. He wanted to incorporate thistle detailing to honour their time in Scotland, while also capturing Maeve’s love of florals and romance. Courtney skilfully wove these elements together into a timeless and elegant design, adorned with vibrant pear cut emeralds. At its centre sits a stunning round brilliant cut diamond, perfectly balanced by the emeralds on either side. Delicate hand engraved details by our Master Jeweller, Darren, added a personal touch while the rope detailing surrounding the emeralds adds another dimension of detail.

Once complete, this spectacular ring successfully completed its journey from Wellington to Edinburgh, carrying with it high anticipation and excitement.

Seeing these beautiful proposal photographs alongside the images of the ring being crafted is a reminder of what makes bespoke jewellery so special.
