The Village Goldsmith accepts Visa, Mastercard, Direct Debit and Bank Cheque.
We also support PayPal for website purchases and the PayPal payment gateway will accept your payment by credit card or, optionally, your PayPal account if you have one.
All products on our website and in store include GST of 15%. If we post your item outside of New Zealand we will deduct this amount from the purchase price. All details will be included in our quote.
Tax free jewellery purchases are available and The Village Goldsmith can arrange a tax free jewellery purchase for travellers and overseas visitors to New Zealand. Should you wish to make use of this service this is the procedure that will occur.
Full payment for the piece must be made to The Village Goldsmith within a 28 day timeframe, prior to you leaving New Zealand.
After you have cleared customs and emigration at the international airport you will be leaving New Zealand from, you can present your copy of the “Tax Free Sales Receipt” at the airport collection point to collect your piece of jewellery. Our staff will give you guidance about where the collection point is located in the airport.
You must pick your jewellery up prior to your flight leaving New Zealand. You cannot pick it up on a return flight.
If you forget to pick your jewellery up prior to your departure, you may need to pay the GST when you pick it up on your return to New Zealand.
If you are purchasing this piece tax free as a gift, you must present this gift/ engagement ring to that person while you are away overseas. If you wish to present this after your return to New Zealand you may be expected to pay the GST on your return to New Zealand.
