ETHICAL DIAMOND SOURCE
At The Village Goldsmith we have a conflict-free diamond policy and take the issue very seriously. Many measures have been put in place over recent years to stop the flow of conflict diamonds. The Kimberley Process has been established which tracks diamonds from the mine to the market. Also many partnerships have been formed with the UN, governments and other organizations that manage diamond exports to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds.
The Village Goldsmith only purchases diamonds through respected diamond suppliers who adhere to our strict zero tolerance policy. For more information on the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme go tohttp://www.kimberleyprocess.com/
